Chopping board
Reclaimed Azobe and Khaya, 430*330

Carving mallet
Reclaimed Sapele and Oak offcuts

Mallet
Made from Elm (offcut from a seat), Mahogany (from an old chest of drawers), Oak (offcuts), and the handle is Khaya from a reclaimed railway sleeper. Held together with a wedged tenon.

Milking Stool
Made from peened Cedar, with Oak legs

Frames
Made from MDF moistureboard offcuts, biscuit jointed, and glued.

Dining chair
A prototype made from MDF and pine offcuts.

Saw bench
A 450mm high saw bench, made from repurposed Azobe. The tenon was left proud on the end to ack as a bench stop and something to clamp a workpiece to.

Side table
A low side table. Made from repurposed Oak with wedged tenons.

A garden table
A Japanese style garden table, inspired by Simple Japanese Furniture, group monomono, GMC publications 2022'. All wood made from salvaged hardwood off cuts: Sapele, Iroko, Mahogany, Oak and Teak.

High and wide
This stool was made high (700mm) and wide (570mm) for my neighbours.
The brief was rustic, rounded, and organic. Made with CLS off-cuts from their building project, held together with mortise, tenons, and tension.

An Empty Chair
The final chair of the collection, made for the Empty Chair Design Award.
Repurposed Khaya (African mahogany) from a railway sleeper. Burnished finish.

A hedge chair
A traditional Welsh / Irish hedge chair made with ebonised oak, with an elm seat and back rest. A burnished and tung oil finish.

A fire-side back stool
A traditional vernacular fire-side back stool. Completely hand made from a rough cut piece of spalted beech using traditional tools and techniques. Burnished finish.

Iconic models
A pair of Steltman model chairs.
Handmade with off cuts. Scales: 1:20, 1:25

A kitchen stool
A brutalist kitchen stool.
Repurposed Oak, tapered, doweled, and square tenons.
Finished in mineral oil.
340mm high, 355mm wide, 600mm high.

A Post Chair
Rough cut timber machined to dimension. Mortise and tenon joints for legs and stretchers. Ebonised Oak and natural Ash with a soap polish. Seat 450mm from ground, 390mm wide, 460mm deep. Chair sits 810mm at top of rear legs.
